BUILDING VIOLATION™
A service of Building Violation LLC helps property owners, managers, businesses, and professionals
navigate building code violations and code-compliance matters. We coordinate research, correction strategy,
permits, inspections, hearings, filings, supporting documentation, and agency follow-up needed to move
a matter toward resolution.
Our work includes Department of Buildings and code-enforcement violations, work without a permit, illegal or unapproved conditions, hearing representation, Certificates of Correction, permit and inspection coordination, penalty mitigation, property-record research, and related compliance matters.
When licensed design professionals, contractors, electricians, plumbers, or other specialists are required, we coordinate the appropriate participants and keep the project organized through the applicable correction and closeout process.
Every property and enforcement matter is different. We begin by reviewing the available records and current conditions, identifying the outstanding requirements, and developing the most direct practical path toward compliance.
Building Violation LLC is a private building-code compliance and violation-resolution company, not a city agency or the NYC Department of Buildings. Founder Michael Germanovsky developed BuildingViolation.com beginning in 2007 after working for years in project-architecture roles. Building Violation LLC was incorporated in 2015. These dates refer to different milestones and should not be confused.
We coordinate property-record research, compliance strategy, agency filings, hearings and specialized licensed professionals when a project requires them. Regulated work, design certifications and legal representation remain with properly authorized professionals. We do not guarantee dismissal of fines, agency approval or a particular outcome.
