Is this a government complaint?
No. Building Violation LLC is a private service company. Our form requests private coordination and does not file a City complaint or request an official inspection. You can use official reporting channels separately. Do not wait for this service in an emergency.
What does it cost, and who might become a client?
Initial resident coordination is free within the Service Limits. Inspections, testing, professional opinions, repairs, permits, hearings, and closeout require a separate scope and fee. We may offer paid services to the owner or manager. Resident authorization does not commit anyone to pay.
Will you contact management automatically?
No. Staff review the request, recipient, authorization, and sharing choices first. We may need more information or may decline the matter. Acceptance and a response from another party are not guaranteed. You can identify attachments for staff review only.
Does the form authorize entry or legal representation?
No. Proposed access times must become a separately agreed appointment. The authorization does not permit unrestricted entry, contract signing, expenses, settlement, waiver of rights, withdrawal of official complaints, or legal representation.
Can I submit without every management detail?
Yes. Provide what you know and mark uncertain information as unknown. A usable resident contact, the property, a clear concern, and authorization are needed for review. An incorrect recipient can delay coordination or expose information to the wrong party.
What if nobody responds or I want to stop?
Coordination may pause or end when participation or information is unavailable. There is no promise of unlimited follow-up. Email [email protected] with your reference to correct information or withdraw future coordination. Information already shared cannot be recalled.
What counts as resolved?
Performed work, resident feedback, professional verification, and agency closeout are distinct. A summary should identify what is supported and what remains open. If the condition returns, send a dated update with your earlier reference. Feedback does not automatically waive rights.
