Describe each remaining item
Use one clearly described task per item. Identify the room or area, the visible condition, the agreed correction, and a photograph where useful. “Touch up damaged paint beside the repaired window” is easier to act on than “finish bedroom.” Distinguish a defect from work that was never part of the approved scope.
Assign the next action
Identify who will review the item, perform the work, and confirm completion. Record access needs and proposed dates. If the contractor disputes the item, preserve the reason and refer back to the agreed scope rather than quietly removing it or marking it complete.
Move the concern toward a documented result
At the completion visit, update each item with a date and the evidence reviewed. Keep unresolved technical questions separate from cosmetic restoration. Building Violation LLC can assist with punch-list coordination under an approved scope; administrative tracking does not itself certify technical adequacy or government closeout.
Get help with this concern
Residents: submit a building complaint with your property address, a description of the condition, and permission for Building Violation LLC to contact the parties you identify. Owners and managers: request a separately priced scope for assessment, repair coordination, or closeout. Initial resident coordination is free within the service limits; technical work requires separate authorization.
