Describe the place and the problem
Begin with the property address, unit, room, and affected surface or equipment. Explain what you see, hear, or experience. “The bathroom ceiling drips while the upstairs shower is running” gives a reviewer something to investigate. If timing is uncertain, say approximately when you noticed it rather than inventing a precise date.
Include the history and your request
State when you reported the issue, who received the message, and whether a visit or repair followed. Request a specific next step, such as an inspection appointment or confirmation of the proposed repair plan. Avoid mixing an unrelated billing dispute into the condition description; it can obscure the work that needs evaluation.
Move the concern toward a documented result
Keep a copy of the message and any reply. Update the same timeline when the condition changes. Building Violation LLC can use a clear concern to seek management participation, but a written report alone does not establish the cause or prove who must pay. Read Organizing Photographs and Messages before uploading evidence.

Residents: submit a building complaint with your property address, a description of the condition, and permission for Building Violation LLC to contact the parties you identify. Owners and managers: request a separately priced scope for assessment, repair coordination, or closeout. Initial resident coordination is free within the service limits; technical work requires separate authorization.
